The short version

FlickPicks is a free football prediction game run by Non League Previews. It's points only, with no money involved. We keep what the game needs to work: your account, your picks and your tournaments. There are no adverts, no analytics and no tracking, and we never sell or share your details.

What we store

• Your account: the name you chose for tables, your email address, and your password stored only as a one-way scrambled hash, which no one can read back.
• Your game: your picks and when you made them, the leagues you switched on, and the tournaments you created or joined.
• Signing in: a record that keeps you signed in for 30 days, until you sign out.

Who can see it

• Players in your tournaments see your table name, points, number of picks and weekly wins. They don't see your email address or your individual picks.
• Everyone's picks are combined into anonymous percentages for each match, shown once 20 people have picked it.
• Only Non League Previews can see email addresses.

Cookies

We use one cookie, fp_session, which keeps you signed in. It's essential for the game to work, so there's no cookie banner, and it expires after 30 days or when you sign out. There are no other cookies.

Other websites

Club crests come from our fixtures supplier, FootyStats, but our server fetches them, so your browser only ever talks to this site. The "Read the preview" links take you to Non League Previews, a separate site with its own privacy page.

Security and logs

We don't keep logs of your visits. To stop password guessing, the server briefly counts sign-in attempts from each network address. These counts are held only in memory, for up to an hour, and are never saved.

Where it's kept

On our server in Helsinki, Finland (run by Hetzner, in the EU), with nightly backups kept for 14 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, or have your account deleted. Deleting your account removes your picks too, and any tournament you created. Email privacy@nonleaguepreview.co.uk from the address you signed up with. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We use your details only to run the game you signed up for, and to keep it secure.
